The main work required consists of completely stripping all the bodywork and having it shot blasted. Originally my idea was then to have it powder coated by the same company, but I have now decided to have it all painted instead in the original colours it left the Innocenti factory in.
After stripping it down, the frame was found to be in very good condition, and again, it is obvious that at some stage in the past a previous owner intended to do what I am now as the loop had been stripped and coated in grey primer, but the rest had simply been sprayed black by can over the original thorn white.
I have put a bit more information in some of the photographs, which not only form a record of the restoration, but also serve as an aide memoir for me when putting it back together again.
